Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 13, 2026

Identilead ("we", "us", "our") is the company that provides the Identilead platform and is the data controller for the personal information described in this policy. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, and your choices.

1. Information We Collect

For homeowners, we collect name, email, phone number, ZIP code, project description, timeline, optional photos, and answers to follow-up questions. For contractors, we collect business name, service area, trade preferences, logo, notification settings, license information, and account credentials through our authentication provider. For everyone who visits the site, we collect device identifiers, IP address, and usage data such as pages viewed and features used. Payment card details are collected and processed by our payment provider, not by us.

2. How We Use Information and Our Legal Basis

We use homeowner information to generate preliminary project estimates and share them with the selected contractor, and to send the project updates you have asked for. We use contractor information to configure the intake flow, send lead notifications, bill for your subscription, and provide support. We use usage and device data to keep the platform secure, prevent fraud and abuse, and improve the product.

We process this information where it is necessary to perform our agreement with you, where you have given consent (such as for marketing texts and non-essential cookies), where we have a legitimate interest in operating and securing the service, and where we must comply with a legal obligation.

3. SMS and Phone Communications

We only send text messages to homeowners who have explicitly opted in by checking the SMS consent box, and to contractors who opt in when registering their business. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

4. Data Sharing

Homeowner project details are shared with the contractor they choose. We share information with: service providers and subprocessors that help us operate the platform (hosting, authentication, email, SMS, and AI processing); Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record, for selling the product, managing subscriptions, payments, tax compliance, and invoicing; professional advisers such as lawyers and accountants; and authorities where we are required by law. We do not sell personal information.

5. Data Retention

We retain account and project information for as long as the account is active or as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations, then we delete or anonymise it. You can request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.

6. Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and least-privilege access to production systems. No online service is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Cookies

We use essential cookies that are required for the site to work, such as keeping you signed in and remembering your theme. We use analytics cookies, which we only set with your consent, to understand how the platform is used. You can accept or reject non-essential cookies, and you can clear or block cookies in your browser settings, though some parts of the site may not work if you do.

8. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may ask to access the personal information we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, restrict or object to how we use it, receive a copy of it in a portable format, or withdraw consent you previously gave (for example, by replying STOP to a text). To make a request, contact support@identilead.com. If you are not satisfied with how we handle a request, you can complain to your local data protection authority.

9. Changes

We may update this policy periodically. Continued use of Identilead after changes means you accept the updated policy.
