Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of Identilead as a contractor — the estimate, contract and change-order software tool. By using Identilead, you agree to these terms.

Identilead ("we", "us", "our") is the seller of the Identilead subscription. When you subscribe to Identilead, you are contracting with Identilead.

1. Tool Only

Identilead is a software tool only and is not a legal service. Identilead is not a party to any estimate or contract generated through the platform.

2. Contractor Responsibility

Contractors are solely responsible for the accuracy of scope of work, pricing, and payment schedules in all documents they generate. Contractors are responsible for compliance with all applicable laws, including licensing requirements.

3. License Certification

By using Identilead, the contractor certifies they hold a valid contractor's license in the state where they operate and that the license number provided is current and accurate. Identilead may verify this license at any time and may suspend accounts whose license does not match.

4. Liability Cap

Identilead's total liability is limited to the amount the contractor paid for the subscription in the prior twelve months.

5. Attorney Review

Documents generated through Identilead are templates. Contractors should have an attorney review them before use.

6. Trial and Cancellation

Free trials require a credit card. Cancel anytime before the trial ends to avoid charges. Upgrades apply immediately with a prorated charge; downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle.

7. Payments and Refunds

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax and refund terms are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee: request a full refund within 30 days of your order at paddle.net or by contacting support@identilead.com.

8. Acceptable Use and Ownership

You may not use Identilead unlawfully, for fraud or spam, to infringe intellectual property, or to interfere with the service's security (including malware, probing, or scraping). Identilead retains all rights to its software, documentation, and branding. The service is provided without a guarantee of uninterrupted or error-free performance. We may suspend or terminate access for material breach, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations.

9. Messaging Consent

Homeowners who provide a phone number and check the SMS consent box agree to receive text messages from the contractor and Identilead about their project. Contractors consent to lead-alert texts when they register their business. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time. Reply HELP for assistance.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

10. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Identilead after changes means you accept the updated terms.
